1. Purpose
The purpose of this Agreement is to define the terms and conditions under which the Customer allows the Platform to collect, display, and advertise property-related content, including images, videos, and descriptions, on the PropertiesInAddis.com website and associated media channels.
2. Consent to Use of Images and Videos
1. The Customer grants full permission to PropertiesInAddis.com to upload, display, and promote any photos, videos, or other media submitted or captured for the purpose of property marketing.
2. This consent includes the right to publish such content on:
o PropertiesInAddis.com website,
o Social media pages, and
o Partner marketing platforms.
3. The Customer confirms that they are the rightful owner or authorized representative of the property and that the submitted materials do not infringe on any third-party rights.
4. The Customer acknowledges that such media may be visible to the public before the final listing approval.
3. Review and Approval
1. PropertiesInAddis.com may post images and videos for preliminary review and feedback before finalizing the property listing.
2. The Customer will have the opportunity to request edits, corrections, or removal of inaccurate or private details before the listing is finalized.
3. Once approved, the property will be marked as “Listed” on the platform.
4. Accuracy of Information
1. The Customer agrees to provide accurate and truthful information about the property.
2. PropertiesInAddis.com reserves the right to verify submitted information and decline or remove any listing that violates laws or company policies.
5. Ownership and Rights
1. All intellectual property rights in content created by PropertiesInAddis.com (e.g., professionally taken photos, edited videos, or written descriptions) shall remain with the Platform unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. The Customer retains ownership of their property and may request permanent deletion of their content at any time, subject to legal and contractual obligations.
6. Compliance with Ethiopian Law
1. Both parties agree to comply with all applicable Ethiopian laws and regulations, including the Civil Code of Ethiopia, Advertising Proclamation No. 1236/2021, and Personal Data Protection principles.
2. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be governed by Ethiopian law and resolved under the jurisdiction of Addis Ababa City Courts.
7. Limitation of Liability
PropertiesInAddis.com shall not be liable for:
• Misrepresentation by the Customer,
• Unauthorized third-party use of publicly visible property images, or
• Temporary technical issues affecting display.
8. Commission to Properties in Addis
You agree that you pay a 2% commission for sales made by Propertiesinaddis.com sales agents.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement by written notice. Upon termination, the Platform shall remove the Customer’s property listing and associated media within a reasonable time.
10. Acceptance
By submitting property information, photos, or videos through PropertiesInAddis.com, the Customer hereby confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
